Black Oak Casino Continues To Expand

A parking structure that will eventually provide one thousand covered parking spaces is now under construction at Black Oak Casino. Ron Patell, General Manager of Black Oak Casino in Tuolumne, discussed the expansion on today's Newsmaker segment on AM-1450 KVML.

Patell said, "The structure is now about a quarter of the way through completion. We plan to have it finished by late this year or early 2009."

Upon completion, patrons will have direct access into the casino via a giant sized skybridge. Within the skybridge area, there will be expanded casino facilities including an additional poker area and a food and beverage area that will include a coffee shop.

The parking structure is being built where the first Black Oak Casino once stood. Most of the current area for outdoor parking will eventually make way for a planned Hotel and Conference Center.

The Newsmaker of the Day can be heard each weekday morning at 6:47, 7:47 and 8:47 on AM-1450 KVML.
