Well, there’s an old saying I live by now, “Don’t lie, cheat or steal…”. So, as You can see, it looks like I’m unqualified to be a politician! I like Your gumption though, and I too was a working 25 year old in this County so here’s the straight scoop. Amador County has seen enough of political candidates named Boitano.
With the exception of the Agricultural Commissioner Mike “E”. Boitano (no known relation). His record as a dedicated, ‘middle of the road’ politician is impeccable as far as I have ever seen.
Louis Boitano has had sixteen years as Dist. 4’s leader, he was no up to task as Amador County has done a back slide. He also had four years before that to “improve” Sutter Creek, that did not happen either. His sister Heidi Boitano had ten years on the Sutter Creek City council after that (1992-2002?), as she replaced his seat. The community was no better off after their public service concluded on the Sutter Creek council than it was before their tenure.
