One percent

One percent

One percent of the Arab World owns ninety-nine percent of the wealth. Most of the money and power is held by Autocratic rulers, while a billion Islamic and Muslim People live the best they can, under the circumstances.

In America, We pronounce to the World, We are the shining model of culture. Here it is five percent of the people that own ninety-five percent of the wealth. By contrast, ninety-five percent of the people own the other five percent of the wealth. That is considered the Capitalist standard.

In Communism, the people own zero percent of the wealth and all are suppose to share. As an example, the ordinary citizen theoretically has zero percentage of personal ownership rights. But under this system that is suppose to translate to one hundred percent of wealth to the People, by virtue of the perceived social benefits they will eventually and hopefully receive.

However, some ask, “in order for any of these models to really work in the dynamic World of today, how is the goal of all the people sharing all the wealth going to be achieved? Well, often used as a common rebuttal is the theory, “Wealth is a direct result of education…”. And, in India seventy percent of the people are illiterate, the same in China where seventy percent of the people are also illiterate. Typically, this issue of education is pointed to as a meter of economic achievement in urban areas, and is used to explain the deprivation associated with the perceived sub-standard conditions of the Third World.

And Africa? Similar figures as other places, except it seems it’s even harder to concentrate on education when there is no food or health care, and You are on the run as a Refugee, all the time. What do We call it when the whole country is homeless? I call it stinking of genocide.

And Iraq? How much education do You think a dictator wants his people to have? Not much, if at all. And, oh by the way, you get a bigger mess if you replace one big Sunni dictator with a bunch of little ones. No, that was not a joke, just ask anyone on the streets of Bagdad. I do not have that kind of courage, do You?

How many other counties do We include in this list of poor education that leads to poor living conditions? What about the Western Democratic and developed countries? Are the illiteracy rates so much better there? The short answer is no. Illiteracy rates vary widely, depending on factors like location, testing parameters and bias. Averages of most studies report ranging between thirty and seventy percent, hardly the “model of efficiency” myth and legend would have Us think.

While examining population studies of Sacramento, Calif. U.S.A., there was seen a notable correlation between substantial areas of high crime and areas with a severe lack of education. Also, areas with higher education opportunities tended to matched areas of higher income. But what the study did not clearly address, was the fact that these areas are only a few miles apart. Huge pockets of ‘Third World’ poverty, misery and degradation, located in the most desired Country to migrate to in the World.

If a natural born citizen of the most developed and powerful Country in the World can still face poverty, ignorance and despair, then is it any wonder the poor and uneducated of the ‘Third World’ are eventually tricked into turning to radical ideology for solace. Often, their only other choice is to simply roll over and wait to die. What would You do?

So, whether You are poor and uneducated, one of the educated rich and emotional detached, or maybe just lost some where in between, the solution should now be abundantly clear to all of Us.

The unfortunate folly of Our generation will be to not concentrate on education and peaceful means to reform political chaos.

Question? What would We have if one hundred percent of the people owned one hundred percent of all the wealth? Answer: We would all have one percent.
