Over the yellow brick road - One company’s profits hit 15,000% in 2007
Spring 2007

While examining the Stock market, a leverage buy-out company nicknamed,” KKR” and a history of bad corporate practices a disturbing fact surfaced. Suddenly, before disbelieving eyes a company making a 15,000 % profit, During a time of War. I had hear one reporters’ story about how Goldman Saches Management told KKR to “back off a (shady) deal that would only bring the Public spot light. Besides, it’s a cleaner, more responsible business world, now.. So, if You want to make the Money, You have got to play by the rules…” as they drove off in their new Hybrid Limousines… (PBS, NBR - interviews)

Could this be the answer? Who and what could make the sharks at KKR back-off? Not even a major partner getting murdered slow down that train sister. But, this story claimed Goldman had the stick, and a big one. But what? This stock “situation” could explain things. Hundreds of millions of $$$ reported (who knows how much, really?) And Trust Me, a software program looks like it would explain it, but haven’t all of the banks already been computerized? Can such an innovation really be so prolific? And since this is public and true, then what about the stories (many and over many years..) that Goldman’s prominent role as a major banker in the Federal Reserve System compromises the public good?
